I found a pin on pinterest {talk about addicting} that had a recipe to clean your pans. It showed a dirty side and a clean side. I must say, the clean side put me in a trance giving me flashbacks on the days when I had nice shiny pans.
So I gave it a shot. I made a paste out of baking soda and peroxide and rubbed it over the pan. I let it set up for about 5 minutes or so before I gave it a scrub. And right before my eyes I could see shine.
I might have to make cookies today.
{this is my actual pan}
I know it surprised me too! Now I just need to find someplace to hide these until cookie season {smile}.
I would love to know what ratio or measurements you used with your baking soda and peroxide. My pans are pretty grody and this looks like a life saver!
ReplyDeleteChristina, I used 1/4 cup baking soda and keep adding the peroxide a little at a time until it makes a nice paste. Rub past over pans, let it set 5-10 minutes and scrub off. You'll be amazed. Good Luck !!
ReplyDeleteI came over from iheart organizing - I'm definitely going to try this on my cookie sheets! Thanks! ;-)
